See the Best, Bring Out the Best.
“Therefore encourage one another and build each other up.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:11
“When you seek to discover the best in others, you somehow bring out the best in yourself.”
As you come to the last Saturday of August, take a moment to reflect not only on what you have accomplished this month, but also on how you have touched the lives of the people God has placed along your path.
It is easy to notice weaknesses, mistakes and shortcomings. But there is something powerful about choosing to see the good in others — to encourage their gifts, appreciate their efforts and speak words that build them up. When you help others see what is possible in themselves, God also works in your heart, growing you in kindness, humility and grace.
Today, choose to be an encourager. A sincere word of appreciation, a little patience, or simply believing in someone may be exactly what they need.
Prayer
✝️ Prayer: Lord, thank You for bringing me to the last Saturday of this month. Give me eyes to see the best in others and a heart that encourages rather than criticises. Help my words and actions bring hope, confidence and joy to those around me. Thank You for Your faithfulness throughout August. Amen! 🙏🏾 💫 May God fill your heart with peace and gratitude today. May you recognise the goodness in those around you and inspire them to become their best. As August draws to a close, may you look back with gratitude and step into the new month with renewed strength, fresh hope and God’s abundant favour.
